You know the saying, “you can’t pour from an empty cup.”
Or maybe your cup of tea is this quote, “put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.”
Courtesy of airlines everywhere.
Regardless of what quote you resonate with the underlying message is the same, take care of yourself first so you can better help others.

6. You Are A Badass
You Are a Badass is at times so relatable it’s scary. I got a neck cramp from nodding up and down so much as I was reading through this book.
Jen Sincero’s no-nonsense way of writing is refreshing and the perfect complement to her own real-life stories she shares throughout this book to really help you level up your life in ways you didn’t even know was possible.
Also, check out Jen Sincero’s other book, You are a Badass at Making Money if you want to uplevel your money mindset and bring more money into your life.

11. A Happy Pocket Full of Money: Infinite Wealth and Abundance in the Here and Now
Essentially, it is a mindset that allows you to recognize the abundance of money in the world and view that money in a way that makes you feel worthy of it and like it is a truly abundant resource.
The less you attach to the idea of having wealth or wanting wealth or the feelings you have about wealth, “good” or “bad”, the easier more wealth will come in and the more will come in. A Happy Pocket Full of Money brings these ideas forward and gets you to begin to view money as what it really is, energy. And in order to truly manifest more of it, you must be vibrating at the same frequency of it.
This book also dives into the world of quantum physics which sounds terrifying and like it should be in some Sy-fy movie but it’s actually quite interesting and easy to understand. Not only that, but quantum physics also brings a bit of science to the world of manifestation.
As the author mentions in the book, I highly recommend reading this book multiple times to really get the full understanding and effect. Needless to say, since reading this book I have noticed a big increase in money manifestations which is always exciting!
I personally like to add this book into my morning routine and just read one or two chapters right away in the morning. This way my subconscious mind is primed into an abundance thinking and this makes manifesting money a lot easier. This is definitely one of my favorite books to read and I am so excited for you to dive into as well.
12. It is Done by Richard Dotts
Richard Dotts does an incredible job of making manifestation easy and simple to understand but not only that, he helps you remove the fear and blocks you may have surrounding manifestation.
He helps you make it almost instantaneous.
If you’re ready to make manifestation really easy, grab yourself a copy of this book.
13. Outwitting the Devil Napoleon Hill
Not only does it have older English in it but the basis is set on a conversation, interview or all-out trial with what Napoleon Hill calls, The Devil.
The Devil can also be known as your ego-mind although it’s not depicted that way in this book.
The premise of Outwitting the Devil is that of overcoming that inner voice that makes you drift. That forces you to forget about your goals and give your life over to your fears instead of your higher self.
There are a LOT of golden nuggets in this book and I have to say, holy shift, some of the things that were said really got the wheels turning for me.
As I said, it isn’t a book for everyone but if you’re willing to be open-minded, take what you want and leave the rest, you are really going to get a lot out of this book.
You can purchase Outwitting the Devil here on Amazon but because this book was written in the 1930’s it’s bound to be floating around for free on the internet somewhere.
14. Atomic Habits by James Clear
Atomic habits provides an in-depth, yet simple take on habits, how they’re created, and well, how to actually change them for real.
Another interesting approach that James Clear takes in this book is focusing on who you are being which is what creates the habits you do in daily life.
This isn’t talked about much in the personal development world and I promise, you won’t find any rah-rah, motivation tackets in this book.
Just a bunch of solid, down to earth, and realistic ways to change your habits.
If you’re looking to make those big changes you’ve always wanted and really make 2020 your break-through year, Atomic Habits is going to be a big stepping stone to get you there.
Personal Development is a Long Game
Learning to uplevel your life or just simply do more and be more in your life takes time and it isn’t something you can do once and then wash your hands of it.
I highly recommend all of these books because they each have something new to offer and they can all improve your life drastically.
